Manage Employee Profiles

Employee Profiles allow you manage all aspects that help control the employee's work schedule. You will be able to manage:

  • First and Last Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Cell
  • Employee Photo
  • Start Date (seasonal employees)
  • Last Date (seasonal employees)
Work Hours

Set employee work hours

  • Min Hours per shift (optional)
  • Max Hours per shift (optional)
  • Min Hours per Week

  • Max Overtime Hours per Week
Work Availability

Based on a repeating 4 week period. Availability can be set for specific days off the week on a given week. Example: Jane needs every other Saturday off, cannot work on Wednesdays before 11AM. You would achieve this by setting Week 1 and Week 3 Saturdays to "Unavailable", and by setting all Wednesdays to "Unavailable from Midnight to 11:00AM"

Employee Departments/Positions

Assign your employees to the departments and positions they are qualified to work in.

Employee Default Shifts

Set specific shifts an employee needs to be assigned to. You are able to import these when you create a new schedule, or you have the option to skip/ignore it for that schedule.

Employee Portal

Employees are given employee portal login credentials. The Employees portal is where employees are able to:

  • Check their work schedules
  • Request Time Off
  • Update Contact Information (Phone, Cell, Email)
  • Update push notifications preferences
Employee Request Time Off

Employees are able to request time off via the Employee Portal. Employers are able to set a cut off time (number of days before next schedule start date) in which requests are no longer accepted (in days) the amount of time. Employers also have an option to set the number of requests to auto-approve per day.

Employee Roles

Create and manage employees roles (Examples: Employee, Shift Manager, Dept Manager, Admin)

Custom Settings

Unique employee requirements that effect employee scheduling can be built into the employee profile and used when scheduling. Some examples of special requirements:

  • Min or Max shifts in a row
  • Bilingual
  • Alternate Employee (who works in place of employee when they are off)
  • Min/Max opens in a week
  • Min/Max closes in a week
  • Can not open if they closed the day before
Management Roles

Assign managers to departments. Managers can then:

  • Add Employees to their department
  • Modify profiles of employees in their department
  • Create schedules for their department
  • Adjust published schedules for their department
Employee Time Clock
Web-Based Time clock

Using a tablet, touch screen laptop or touch screen desktop, employees are able to clock in and out for their shifts

  • Option A: Employee enters their employee id on screen to clock in or clock out
  • Option B: Bar-coded employee badges allows employees to scan their ID to clock in or out**

Scheduling
Create Schedules

Simply set the number of weeks and the shifts needed for your next schedule. Before running your schedule, you can:

  • View and approve employee requests for time off
  • Import employee default shifts

Separate schedules are created for each department

Scheduling Conflicts

When there are shifts that can't be filled when running your schedule, the schedule conflict resolution page will give detailed information about your employees to help you make an informed decision on who to place in shift.

  • A new schedule is published
  • A scheduled is modified and effects them
